Welcome to Olmsted Needlework Co., a modern embroidery pattern shop with roots in the traditional handmade crafts that have been passed down through many generations, my own family included. The company is named after my mom, who taught me needlework early in my life, after I failed miserably at learning knitting and crochet.

I started this shop after years in years in the corporate world (with a brief stop in grad school to study cartography - hence the map patterns!). It's a welcome change and one that has reignited my creativity.

Hopefully you find a bit of cozy quiet time with my patterns, stitching something that will give you joy when you look at the finished piece.
